Kurt Zubatiuk, RP

Registered Psychotherapist, CRPO# 001301; Diploma TIRP; Member, CAPT

Hi there.

My name is Kurt Zubatiuk (say: Zoo-ba-teeook). I’m a psychotherapist offering moderate-cost relational therapy in central Toronto.

But, you can just call me Kurt.

That is how Relational Psychotherapy is. There are no “doctors” or “misters”, rather you and I engaging on a first name basis. No formal barriers or authority, instead you and I will work collaboratively to help you.

But, what about me? I’m a graduate from the “Toronto Institute for Relational Psychotherapy” (TIRP). I’m a member of the “Canadian Association for Psychodynamic Therapy” (CAPT). I’ve been working in private practice since 2009.

I continue to attend conferences and seminars to keep abreast of the latest studies and insights in psychotherapy, trauma, child development, attachment, neuroscience and other relevant fields.

I’m also a writer, poet and have been an artist. I have a bachelor degree from Queen’s University in philosophy, and another from Emily Carr University in fine art.

Throughout my life people have shared their stories and feelings with me. I’ve been told I’m a “good listener”, and that people feel comfortable talking to me.
